4. How You Can Request Data Deletion

5. What Happens After Your Data Is Deleted
When your deletion request is approved:
- Your account is permanently removed
- Your username becomes available after deletion
- All personal data stored in your profile is erased
- Most of your posted content is deleted or anonymized
- Backups containing your data are purged automatically within 30–90 days
Note:
Some non-identifiable records may remain for:
- Security
- Auditing
- Fraud prevention
- Statistical analysis
These records cannot be linked back to you.
6. Exceptions to Data Deletion
Data may not be deleted immediately if:
- There is an ongoing investigation regarding violations or fraud
- The data is required to comply with legal obligations
- Retention is necessary to protect Geezify or its users
- The request cannot be verified as legitimate
We will inform you if an exception applies.
7. Third-Party Services
If you used third-party login options (Google, Facebook, Apple):
- Deleting your Geezify account does not delete your third-party accounts
- You must manage those accounts separately
- Third-party services may retain their own data according to their policies
